Labour Day Retired Workers Council bring their wisdom to positive change

Cathy Attwood, Rob Cleary, and Peter Kearney, three members from our chapter, took part in the week-long Retired Workers Conference.

Additionally, sixteen of our members took a bus to join Cathy, Rob, and Peter in participating in the annual Labour Day Parade, which enjoyed good weather and a strong turnout.

More than 200 participants gathered in Unifor’s Family Education Centre in Port Elgin, Ont. for this year’s Retired Workers Council from Sept. 1 to 6 to celebrate Labour Day and discuss political issues.
