National Day of Mourning
In Canada, the National Day of Mourning is observed annually on April 28th to commemorate workers who have died, been injured, or suffered illness due to workplace hazards
We are disappointed that a federal election has been called for April 28, the Day of Mourning for workers injured or killed at the workplace. Nonetheless, we felt it important to recognize the day and honour the workers. Please join us at the Day of Mourning monument located at the Tolpuddle Co-Operative building at 11 a.m. on April 28.
