Greetings once again to all chapter members.

The executive has already been busy planning the next few meetings.

Assuming all goes well the next meeting is still scheduled for:

 

Date: Wednesday, Oct. 5th - 10:00 am to Noon

Guest speaker: Detective Constable Jeff Johnston form London Police Service

He will be discussing the various types of frauds, mass marketing, phishing scams, identity theft/fraud, money mule and some crypto currency. Furthermore, some of the signs it’s a fraud, then lastly how to protect yourself from fraud and what to do if you have been victimized.

Lunch: lunch will be a variety of catered sandwich platters with sides

 

As per the earlier email to the membership, In order to judge how much food to order, we are asking the membership to RSVP their intention to attend and if they will be staying for lunch.

The executive will be discussing the possibility and timing of our ever-popular Christmas Luncheon, it will also be an item of discussion at our Oct. meeting.

 

The executive will be working on having the green meeting calendars ready for the new year. Until they are ready, we will have to depend on emails, our website and word of mouth to get the word out.
