National Day of Mourning for Workers Killed and Injured on the Job

The Memorial Service for "The National Day of Mourning for Workers Killed or Injured on the Job", Hosted by the London and District Labour Council was held at the Topuddle Co-op building, April 28th
The memorial was well attended and featured many speakers including the Host Len Elliot from LDLC, Patti Dalton - President London and District Labour Council, Irene Mathyssen - NDP MP London-Fanshawe, Randy St. Croix - Steelworkers Union Local 331, Taras Natyshak - NDP MPP for Essex and Judy Bryant - City Councillor Ward 13.
Local 741’s Steve Holmes was presented with the WHSC Volunteer Award for his life time of working for safer work places.
